Jean started making jams in 2002, that’s over 20 years of hand-making jams in a small factory unit in Newcastle. Since then the products have won lots of awards and we sell our jams, marmalades, curds and chutneys all across the North East of England.
At the start of 2016, we decided to change the brand name from JR Jams to Jean’s Jams. All of the products still have the same great taste and they are still made by hand with no preservatives.
All of the years I spent in science laboratories gave me an experimental edge and I hope our customers and chefs continue a similar creativity in their kitchens!
